Friends of Broomfield History

Help us promote history and play an essential role in enriching the lives of the Broomfield community by joining the Friends of Broomfield History Board of Directors (FoBH).

We are a nonprofit, membership-based organization that strives to foster and promote the history of Broomfield and to interpret Broomfield’s story within a larger context. Our activities and events focus on community engagement and include educational programs, outreach, support for the historic Broomfield Depot Museum, and more. In addition, the FoBH board works closely with the City and County of Broomfield Library and Cultural Affairs Department, especially in the areas of obtaining grants and fundraising. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is passionate about their community of Broomfield and what makes it so special. We are a working board and our success relies on board commitment and involvement.

Board members serve a one-year term and are eligible for reappointment for up to 6 terms. Their time and expertise are donated, and they serve without pay. Board meetings take place at the Depot Museum once a month, typically on the 3rd Tuesday from 6:30 – 8:30pm.
